Now for explaining Judaism: Most of our holidays consist of "Someone tried to kill us, but we're still here. Thank YHVH, and let's EAT!" Once a year we do the spiritual equivalent of filling out IRS forms, settling our accounts wiht YHVH, and we don't eat - that's Yom Kippur. OTOH, once a week on Shabbat, we celebrate Creation: that's like 'payday' : ))

Hey, Leah, exactly how far do Jews take that "do no work on Saturday" thing? And what happens if a Jew takes a job that requires work on Saturday?

I'd also like to ask why the Hassidic Jews wear the hats and the curly thingamabobs. No offense intended.

I think that's sort of like how you're not supposed to haze in fraternities and you're not supposed to play favorites on the job... it's not something that works in reality.

How do you use the multi quote function on this thing?? I clicked multiquote and nothing happened??

I have never been smart enough to handle multiquote.

The message you were quoting only had what TED wrote, so there wasn't any "multi" to quote.

but I WANTED to quote TWO PEOPLE!!! So I clicked on multiquote on BOTH of them,,,,,then quote on the last one, which is how it worked on b-net,,,,,

but that's not working here,,,,,,so I'm confused,,,,,

If I wanted to quote two separate quote boxes, how would I do it??

I think you highlight the "multiquote" for however many posts and then hit "reply" at the bottom.
