With the help of a number of Troth members who are current and former service people in various branches of the Armed Forces of our respective nations, Diana Paxson has worked to put together our efforts into a book to help Heathen and Pagan service folk, and those who care for them.

Special thanks to all the members of all the service branches who show how to enjoy a full practice in garrison, on course, or on overseas deployment without disrupting your unit, and working entirely within the framework of the existing military regulations and standing orders.
It is not enough to be able to both serve our nations, and serve our gods. The two services should complement and enhance each other, not create strife and division when jointly practiced.
The work on integrating back into family life, and on post combat issues is likewise excellent. Our path holds so much knowledge that our brethren in the service lack, that we can be the ones to show our brethren a healthier way to do what must be done, and integrate that new reality into our personal and professional lives upon our return.
For those who are looking for soft peddling; its not. There are some hard things said, but to see a solution, one must first be honest about the problem.
